Biggest clan gathering since 1820s?

Planned for Holyrood Park, Edinburgh, 25-26 July, 2009.
Does anyone know if Clan Scott will be represented?

Clan Scott presence on MySpace

It's probably about time for a reference here to Social Networking sites. So here's something found recently on MySpace, from a kindred spirit in Carlisle (I think), just over the Scottish border into England on the West Coast:

Scott knitwear

As a change from tartan, how about some Scott knitwear?

I just came across Peter Scott "where you will find the best quality knitwear for on and off the golf course", based in Scott country:

Scot or Scott - Michael, medieval mathematician and scholar

Just checking a reference earlier, it was interesting to compare a Wikipedia encyclopedia entry with Information Britain's:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Scot
cf
http://www.information-britain.co.uk/famousbrits.php?id=735

According to Rampant Scotland, 'It is not known for certain that his surname was in fact "Scott" or "Scot" as this may have been appended later as he travelled round Europe. '

Either way, it seems Sir Walter Scott wrote about him in "The Lay of the Last Minstrel".
