Famous Scots Exhibition

During the year of Homecoming Scotland 2009 ScotlandsPeople Centre is exploring the family history of six well-known Scots in a series of six free exhibitions. Not sure if any Scotts will feature(?)

Author signs visitors' book

Read all about Scottish Border Reivers Kinmont Willie Armstrong, apparently captured by the English and imprisoned in Carlisle castle in 1596 and eventually rescued by a party of Scottish Border Reivers led by Walter Scott of Buccleuch who became the first Lord Buccleuch in 1606.
