The Sir Peter Scott Centenary Walkway

According to a recent article in The Scotsman newspaper, Peter Scott 'discovered an interest in wildlife because his Antarctic explorer father believed it was "better than games"'. Now a new wetland walk is to be created in his memory.

Famous Scotts (32): Selina Scott (broadcaster)

A return to our series of items on famous Scotts is long overdue! So let's rectify this right away...

According to an article in Timesonline, the popular UK broadcaster Selina Scott bought a farmhouse on the island of Majorca 'to escape the media rat race' and 'it's taken 20 years of tears and toil to find a happy ending'. It's an interesting story:
